Benjamin Ninechecker, once stranded in the northwest of England now residing in Canada is a pure beat head and electro bass lover.

After borrowing a copy of OctaMed for the Commodore Amiga as a teen, he began creating strange patterns and loops, learning how to program beats.

The results were rough, tough and minimal, but the seed was planted and the output began to flow.

Preferring immediate control to both the performance and the manipulation of sounds, Ninechecker had eschewed computers altogether, building an analogue hardware studio instead.

Influenced in the past by various metal acts through to 90’s era D&B, dub, down-tempo beats through to noisy bastards like Alec Empire and DHR.

Exposure to the hypnotic, hammering techno and sparse, alien electro rhythms whilst raving in Liverpool's vibrant club scene triggered something in his brain.

Taking what he heard at night and trying to twist it out in his studio, Ninechecker came up with his own interpretation, whilst honing his skills at pushing the buttons.

Ninechecker is ready to drop his electronic bombs.
